The WA Deaf Society is a nonprofit organization established in 1921 to produce services to Deaf and difficult of hearing people in Western Australia. We also have other departmental staff occupied in fund raising and marketing, and administrative staff that are responsible for the efficient daily operations of the WA Deaf Society. LC WA provides a professional and innovative interpreting service in a range of settings throughout WA. We are the only interpreting service where all profits are invested back into services which will gain the Deaf community. All interpreters registered with LC WA are accredited by the National Accreditation Authority of Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) and are needed to maintain lofty professional standards such as abiding by fastidious principles and participating in ongoing professional development. We provide quality interpreting services in a variety of situations, such as medical appointments, legal appointments, particular events, functions and workplace meetings.
