After 25 years of ruin the architecturally iconic royal insurance building of 131 st georges terrace became home to the heritage brasserie, bar & boardroom, as part of the new c2 precinct. Offering varying seating options, a plasma tv and full internet access, the boardroom at the heritage is ideally located for your private dining needs. This private dining room will be available for corporate functions and meetings as well as intimate celebrations. The boardroom at the heritage is a private dining room that can accommodate up to twenty people. Takeaway coffee, wine and other delicatessen items are also available. A european dominant wine list will feature, along with tap beer and an open seafood display. The dining room will offer early breakfast, an all day a la carte brasserie menu through to late night cocktails. Framed by the historic facade and dramatic high ceilings the heritage brasserie, bar & boardroom features pewter bar tops hand made in paris, crisp white linen and italian marble floors. Conceptually designed with the intent to establish and introduce a hospitality offering that is all encompassing from a classic cafe/restaurant through to late night bar and take away provedore. Lurking in the basement is bobeche, diverse liquor offering, mixed cocktails, a deep and moody personality for those wanting a dark and intimate setting to enjoy fine wine, tap beer and grazing food menu options.

Based on the cafes of Europe the food offering at The Heritage is created to be approachable and comforting. Basically, it’s the accurate Friday lunch spot Healthy played, The Heritage, healthy played. The food was exceptional, a very diverse wine list which i liked. BUT what really made the evening was the beautiful french waitress, she is an asset to your restaurant. TripAdvisor Ambiance is great, an excellent menu and incredible service! I first went with a group of colleagues for predinner drinks and oysters. The experience was adequate to foster me to go back the following day for dinner. If dining alone i prefer to sit in the bar area the menu is great and caters to all types of palates and appetites. There are also immense early dinner specials (for those eating earlier to 6pm which is just perfect for someone struggles with the 3 hour time difference from Melbourne in summer). The service has everlasting been impeccable, the staff are attentive without being annoying. Food is delicious (i think I’ve had most things on the menu now) and you get what you pay for. Amazing place, splendid service and pretty and huge food. The staff were fantastic, the wait staff seemed to appear out of nowhere honest as we needed them. Fair as you need in an intimate environment. Well done to all involved, from the floor staff to the management. Candidates will be expected to display initiative, have a high attention to detail and maintain a tall profile during service.
