Clan WA is a notforprofit community organization and we have both paid staff and a team of volunteers who labor with parents. We produce community courses, information seminars and individual support, participate in community events and labor closely with other organizations to contribute towards a strong, resilient community. We’ve been around for more than 20 years and promote hundreds of families each year. Resilient and connected individuals, families and communities. Clan WA is committed to embracing and developing use of the Strengths Approach. The Strengths Approach, is a way of active with people to enable change. The pioneers of solution focused and narrative practices and various social labor frameworks have also informed the learning over the years. The Strengths Approach focuses on occupied with people’s strengths and aspirations as a means to profound and important change, as opposed to focus on problems and what people are doing wrong. The key principles of the Strengths Approach are: An emphasis on people’s strengths and capacities as a means to change and growth. Clan WA is managed by an experienced and diverse Board of Management. Active together as a team the Board yield a well balance of oversight, insight and foresight.

We produce information and encourage to parents through events such as courses, seminars and support groups. We have community courses, information seminars, encourage groups and community events happening close you. We have many wonderful volunteers who help out at Clan WA, by occupied directly with families, helping in our office and supporting our community events. These volunteers are trained and supported by our staff and are an crucial segment of our organization. We run those events for parents in the community, but we would be happy to tailor an event to your organization. We run routine volunteer training for people wishing to contribute to our organization. Our parent groups are designed to permit parents to face up and talk about the challenges and joys of parenting. This is a release service and children are welcome. We have a team of wonderful volunteers at Clan WA who produce promote to the community in a variety of ways. All of our volunteers need to have a Active With Children Check (we can help you get this organized) and a Volunteer Police Check (we will help organism this as well). Regardless of what role you’d like to aid with, we will provide training for you. The meetings may include presenters, discussion of a exceptional topic or peer support. Our courses and seminars range from 1 hour to two day training and can be tailored to face your needs.
