MCI has had a long and elated history with its beginning genesis in 1972, starting in Melbourne. In 1985 we achieved a national presence and re branded as Interlink. We were the first company in the commercial furniture industry to accomplish this and are proud to carry it on today. With the advent of technology and the fresh development of workstations, we undertook major changes and became a manufacturer with the establishment of our first manufacturing plant in the slow 1980s. Over this period we reached some major sustainability goals, including ISO14001 certification. This completed our long term strategy to yield the whole project delivery solution from Design, Manufacture, Project Delivery. This re brand was a reflection of our continual evolution and tied in with our shift to a fully integrated offering, which involved providing a combination of Australian Manufactured products and selected international offerings.
