Independent Art Consultant. Ainslie is the Visual and Performing Arts writer for VIP Perth lifestyle magazine and writes periodically for the Australian Art Sales Digest. Ainslie studied the Bachelor of Art degree in Communications and Cultural Studies from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia and is currently completing the Certificate of Museum Studies at Edith Cowan University, Mount Lawley. Due to work commitments Ainslie resigned from council in June 2010. Ainslie was elected onto the Council of the Friends of the Art Gallery of Western Australia in 2007; she was elected Vice President in 2009. Last year Ainslie Gatt Art Consultancy coordinated an exhibition, who exhibited at the Perth Concert Hall, Berlin-based Marc Schmitz, bringing to Perth an acclaimed international artist, along-side the venues World Orchestra Series presenting the Berliner Philharmoniker. Ainslie Gatt Art Consultancy has established itself globally through working with international artists exhibiting in Perth, Western Australia. Among other initiatives, from 2007, Ainslie Gatt Art Consultancy has exhibited visual artists in the unconventional iconic setting of the Perth Concert Hall developing a relationship with the audience of that venue and binding fine art with music. The Ainslie Gatt Art Consultancy presents innovation in arts projects in Perth. In 2004 Ainslie Gatt set up her own business as an Independent Art Consultant. Ian Bernadt, a supporter of this landmark exhibition, commended me on my efforts and competence which he asserts greatly contributed to the success of the exhibition in bringing these distinctive artists to prominence in Western Australia. These unique, indigenous artists hailed from the communities of Blackstone, Tjukurla and Patjarr. In 2000 Ainslie was a key player involved in an exhibition to showcase a group of indigenous artists from the Warburton community to a wider Perth audience. Ainslie Gatt is particularly well known to the Perth audience for co-owning Accent Fine Art Galleries between 1995-2003 and curating many successful exhibitions throughout the years. Ainslie Gatt Art Consultancy has comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Australian Art and over the years has built strong working relationships with private, corporate and institutional collectors, delivering a professional and confidential service.
