We labor with churches to set apart long term workers who irritable cultures to share the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our vision is for a world that knows Jesus. We are committed to wholeness in mission that unites the proclamation of the word and the demonstration of Christ’s love in the witness of the community of God’s people. We work as colabourers with churches and Christian organizations around the world wherever there is common vision. We value our partnership with churches in Australia and around the world and seek to serve by resourcing and educating them as they engage in cranky cultural mission. We value the prayerfulness and passion of our members and supporters across Australia as together we work with churches to set apart and urge long term gospel workers. As God’s people we are called to proclaim this message in all the world that people might put their believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior and so be reconciled to God the Father, become members with us of his forgiven people and live by the Spirit under his rule, awaiting the future restoration of all things. If gospel workers are to survive and flourish in mission, they need to engage in thorough cross cultural training. We have developed an apprenticeship program called mental, aimed at helping people explore whether lengthy term mission is right for them. We have over 200 long term workers serving in strategic ministries to arrive people for Christ. Our workers receive in depth irritable cultural training and ongoing pastoral support. We serve as colabourers with over 100 international partners, including churches, schools, universities and Christian organizations, in more than 35 countries around the world. Our partners are involved in ministries that fit with our gospel vision and purpose. We encourage people to get involved in irritable cultural mission through our six branches across Australia. The CMSAustralia office, based in Sydney, works for and on behalf of the branches to train irritable cultural workers, store them with international partners and bear pastoral protection for them. The food at CBS Conference center is prepared with imagination and care, healthy obvious for its abundance, freshness and variety. The second room doubles as a games or meeting area with table tennis and space for flexibility. As a feasible outworking of Christian faith, AMA works in partnership with Christians and churches in the majority world by funding health related projects. Our Opportunity Shop raises funds for projects in developing countries and to encourage CBS missionaries. They prosper intellectual, spiritual and practical skills for communicating the gospel across cultures, and acquaint themselves with their countries and ministries of destination.

Since CBS’s modest beginnings in 1799, God has been at labor through men and women with valor and vision, who grasped opportunities to make the gospel obvious around the world. CBS was founded in England by a small group of Anglican evangelicals with a passion for worldwide gospel outreach, including John Newton, who wrote Outstanding Grace, and William Wilberforce, who was a leader in abolishing the slave trade in England. With labor among st Aboriginal people a primary focus at the time, a CBS outpost was set up in Sydney in 1825, and the beginning missionaries arrived from England shortly afterward to serve in western MSW. As we prayerfully consider the years ahead, we continue as passionate as ever to see a world that knows Jesus.
